If you will be attaching an awning, wind ropes, or finials, you will need a metal grommet (or 2) in the peak of your tent through which the pins can run.

Toggles on your Door

All doors on our tents come with tie closures, but we can substitute loops and wooden toggle closures.

Thicker than standard canvas

Some folks like a thicker than usual canvas. Our regular 10 oz. holds up very well, but we can accommodate a thicker canvas.

Description

Probably the most timeless of all tentage, the wedge tent has been with us in one form or another for many centuries. We have researched and found a variety of shapes and sizes suitable for different time periods. The 1640 is a flat backed wedge tent that measures 7’6″ long, 6′ wide, and 5′ tall.

Unless otherwise noted, Tentsmith tents are made out of 10 oz. white Sunforger – mold and mildew resistant canvas.

All PRODUCTS ARE “CANVAS ONLY”. YOU WILL NEED POLES, ROPES, AND STAKES TO SET UP YOUR TENT, WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
