For years customers have raved about our oilskin watchcoat. The 18th Century design waxed cloth over layer does a great job of keeping out the rain in rough terrain. The number one thing we hear about the watchcoat is that modern folks expect a hood. To fill that need while maintaining historical integrity we’ve developed a separate hood with a mantle. Made out of our same waterproof oilskin, it is nice and thin but completely impervious to water. The hood can be worn over our watchcoat for full upper body protection. If is a little misty, then just wear the hood to keep your head and shoulders dry.

Now available in a Large size, for those who have a bigger neck and head. Our regular hood comfortably fits up to 20″ neck, while our Large goes up to a bit over 24″
