ROOF VENTING. When standing in most tents, you will find your head in the warmest part – the roof. Both you and the heat are trapped in the same space. Opening both doors helps but a roof vent was, and is, the real solution. We knew we would eventually find a historic answer to our question and did, in an Austrian tent roof. Basically an open rectangle, with a canvas lattice holding it together, and a flap over the outside to close off the elements as mother nature dictates.
We have yet to hear from wet, unhappy campers. However, we have received tents in the mail from customers wishing to have roof vents retrofitted into their other, existing tents. Once you enjoy a roof vent, every tent you own from that moment on will include one.
Cost ~ $95, regardless of tent or vent size
ROOF VENT WITH STRIPED ROOF ~ $135
SCREEN ROOF VENT ~ $130
sizes available: 15″ x 25″ & 18″ x 30″ not available in all tents
