Description
Tentsmiths’ Canvas Tarps are designed to be more of an all-round piece of canvas than the awning. While the awning is designed to stand primarily in front of a tent to create a covered porch, the tarp will do that and far more.
Versatility is the idea from the very beginning of construction. We sew our panels together adding a loop every three feet on every seam, then we double hem the edges placing a reinforcement patch and a loop every three feet on all four sides.
The Canvas Tarp will set up over a rope, ridge pole or canoe. The many loops give you lots of options and, judging by the entries in journals and historical sketches, tarps were everywhere in every configuration.
